                                        How has the tax on the Segal Education Award affected your life?

                                        AmeriCorps Alums are currently in the process of gathering stories about how the taxation of the Segal Education Award has affected real AmeriCorps members.  These stories will be used in the campaign to eliminate the tax on the education award.  Whether your experience has been good or bad, great or small, share your story.  By taking two minutues to go to the link below and sharing your experience you could change the tide in the fight to end taxation on the Segal Education Award.

                                        Policy change concerning education and VISTA members...

                                        There was recently a policy change concerning VISTA members and taking education courses during their service term.  The previous rule was that VISTA members could not take education courses unrelated and unapproved during their terms.  This policy has just been repealed now allowing members to take education courses as they wish during their service terms.  To check out full details reference the document below:
